La Bella e Famosa Spa (formerly La bella salon and spa) originally began as Body enhancement Center in Paducah, KY. It began as a weight loss clinic with a twist. By combining nutritional counseling, exercise programming and our synergie treatment, we were able to achieve phenomenal results for our patients.
With our focus on helping women create a better body image, it was a natural progression when we added our facial services. Initially it was microdermabrasion in addition to some other exfoliation procedures. The cellulite reduction treatments and facial services together were tremendously beneficial and became the basis of what is now known as La Bella e Famosa Spa.
After three years of great results and hundreds of success stories, a second Body Enhancement Center opened in Franklin, Tn. One of our managing partners, Betty Harris, moved to the area in order to assist with operations. She acquired a degree in Biology and Chemistry from Murray State University in addition to her American College of Sports Medicine Certification as a Health and Fitness Instructor. With this as her background she was positioned perfectly to manage, what would become Nashville’s number one Body Contouring Center. After a few years of operating in the Franklin area, she had an opportunity to purchase the clinic and immediately expanded her services. In 2003 she acquired a much larger building and moved into the current location of 3326 Aspen Grove Drive, Suite 275, Franklin, Tennessee 37067. Once the move was complete, Betty changed the name of her business to La Bella Salon and Spa. Salon services were a part of her menu for several years. During that period of growth La Bella Salon and Spa added:

- Light Emitting Diode Equipment
- Oxygen Treatments
- A Variety of Additional Wraps
In addition to many many other services and products. It was also during this period that Betty Harris started her own consulting firm knows as Spa Group America. Lecturing at many national shows and training other spa owners on everything from equipment purchases to business strategies are just a few of the services that Spa Group America offers. As the consulting company continued to grow, Betty decided to take both of her companies to the next level.
Last year, Betty developed both her own skin care line, Issima Skin, and cellulite machine, the “CelluSleek” which combined several therapies into one machine. This year Betty is adding “The Celebrity Room” to her business. This room was specifically designed for accommodating groups and events such as corporate Christmas parties, birthday bashes and ladies days out in addition to several other themes.
